Quest Africa Bungalows and Main House

The Kaba hosts the Quest Africa gap year leadership programme for exceptional young men from February to November each year.  The Quest Africa facility is made available for block booking during the months of December and January.  Each of the six two-bedroomed bungalows sits on stilts and is tucked away amongst indigenous flora.  Each bungalow has two twin or double rooms and is complete with a spacious double outdoor shower, double vanity and separate loo.  The main house comprises a fully-equipped kitchen, a large dining room, and living room with internet facilities, projector and working spaces easily converted for meetings, training sessions or total relaxation.  The dining and lounge areas open out onto a large patio overlooking the pony valley.  This facility is perfect for small conferences or extended family and friends groups and sleeps twenty-four.  Length of stay can vary from a few days to a few weeks.

The Wilderness Campsite

The Wilderness Campsite

A bush camp with one to twelve tents made up for single or double occupancy.  Additional tents for larger groups available by prior arrangement.  Ideal for families, school and university groups, corporate team building getaways. 

Facilities and Services
Lapa with hot and cold running water, braai area and campfire clearing.  Each tent has a camp shower and loo.

We generally do not allow for non-riders - our horses are well schooled working farm horses, but they are not trail ponies, they need to be ridden by competent riders.  All our guides are well trained and knowledgeable, but have different specialities - trees, birds, game and hunting etc. - we try to accommodate interests of individual guests. Horses and guides can be booked by prior arrangement, and are subject to availability.
